How to make a Gingerbread Christmas Church! :)

Start with rolling out your gingerbread dough!

Cut out all the parts for the church you need. These will make the roof of the church!

The walls for the church and the bell tower are ready to go to the oven!

🙂 Here are the back wall of the bell tower and the back wall for the church cut out and ready for the oven. Its best to roll out the dough as well as to cut out the pieces you need on baking paper and just lift the pieces with the baking paper onto the baking tray. This way you minimize any damage on your hard work! 🙂

After your walls have completely cooled down you can add some magical effect to make the windows! Just cut out edible gelatin sheets to the required size and glue them onto the back of the window openings with icing! 🙂

After adding the gelatin windows, you can also start decorating all the pieces with icing!

After the icings have set, start by assembling the 3 bell tower walls together using melted caster sugar – the front and the sides. Be very careful! The melted sugar is VERY hot and will give you nasty burns, if it comes to contact with your skin! So concentrate! You need to work as fast as you can, though, because the sugar sets fast! This is a challenge! 🙂

Add the back wall to the bell tower!
